Comprehensive Eye Examinations

We provide a variety of eye exams. Having your eyes tested on a regular basis can also help you catch a significant health problem early. Our goal is to help all of our patients achieve clear and comfortable vision by tailoring our services to their specific needs.

Visual Acuity Tests

This test is designed to determine how crisp and clear your vision is. We can determine how to improve your vision by using eye charts and different lenses to test both your near and far vision.

Discovery Diabetic Retinopathy Screening

Patients registered on the Diabetic program can have fundus photos taken and evaluated to determine if referral to an Ophthalmologist is needed. Early detection is the answer to prevent vision loss.

OxIA Screening

We have partnered with OxIA to give you the best in eyecare. Each screening combines cutting-edge technology with expert review by a specialist (Ophthalmologist), ensuring your vision stays crystal clear. We simply take photos of the inside of your eye and send it to the Ophthalmologist for evaluation. If any abnormalities are detected, we refer you to an Ophthalmologist for further evaluation.

Contact Lens Consultation

We'll start with an eye exam to see if you're a good candidate for contact lenses. After you've been approved, you'll be fitted and the various types of lenses will be discussed to help you decide which is the best option for your lifestyle.

Frame Sales

We have a large selection of frames from various brands to pick from. These frames can be customized with lenses to suit your specific needs, including indoor, outdoor, ready, driving, and more.

Paediatric Optometry

Based on age, we can perform a number of different eye tests on young children. These tests include: colour vision, learning disorders related to vision, coordination, image perception, eye focus and eye muscle control.

Frame and Spectacle Adjustments and Repairs

Occasionally you may want your bent and broken Frames adjusted or repaired. Our skilled opticians can adjust your specs to ensure the proper fit for your face.

Skippers Licence Screening

Policy dictates that all candidates for the Skipper Coastal and Offshore ≥9m are required to pass the prescribes SAMS tests carried out a specific SAMSA offices. All other candidates attempting the examinations can provide an eye test certificate issues by us, a member of the South African Medical Association.

Driver Licence Screening

Save time at the Traffic Department and let us do your Drivers Licence Screening. You will need to bring a valid Identification Document (ID) along with you. Your screening will be done in co-operation with the National Department of Transport to ensure acceptance.
